Foodporn?

Hello people and welcome to my blog. This is a story about my latest expericence as a girl who have just cooked her first real meal in a real kitchen all by herself. I really hope that you'll learn something from my mistakes because I never get to learn anything from them.

The first thing I' ve learnt while cooking is that it doesn' t matter how excited you are about making a meal, the rest of the family will still groan at you when you turn on the music to get in the mood. That's actually the reason why I ended up running around the kitchen with my brother' s headphones bouncing off my ears.

Becomming nearly deaf by the extremely loud music, I had to realise that not hearing literally anything in the kitchen is a great disadvantage and that it was going to make my life worse with every second. And I was right.

The second thing that came to my mind  while cooking is that I can' t understand some things happening in the kitchen. For example, it remains a mistery why do I must cut myself every time I walk through the kitchen door no matter how much I tried not to hurt myself. I guess it' s just meant for me to become a mazochist. It' s even irrelevant how deep the cut is or where did I cut myself as long as it                                                                                       happens in the ominous kitchen.

Having the ingredients prepared I soon realised that the dish I was making doesn' t have a complicated recipe at all. Unfortunately, I acually did manage ruin everything by thinking I could make it all work by multitasking in one hand and playing with my mobile in the other. I spilled the oil a couple of times before I poured it in my deep frying pan which caught on fire while I was trying to clean up the mess I' ve made. (Just for the record, I really am so awkward and I believe I could write a book about it.)

Being in the kitchen for more than an hour I nearly finished prepairing the dish when the devil itself challenged me to taste it. Well, apparently a normal person wouldn' t try to eat boiling food, but since we' re talking about me, I guess we can make an exeption an conclude that it must have been the only logical thing to do at that very moment. I suppose I don' t have to mention that I got my thongue so burned that I couldn't taste a thing during the whole meal.

In the end it all turned out pretty well (exept the frying pan, I think the stain can' t be removed) so I pinned in a few pictures of my first chicken with mushrooms and spinach. Enjoy :)
